Gloria,
I had the pleasure to talk with your dad on quite a few occasions.  He was a pistol to say the least and kept you on your toes.

You are to be commended for taking such awesome care of him and giving him the best care for as long as you could.  If we all could be as fortunate in our older years.

Wherever he is, i know he's sitting reading the paper and smoking his pipe and at peace.

Bob was married to Nellie Marie (Smith) Harris from 1950 until Nell’s passing in 2006.

Bob served in the army during WWII and fought in fierce battles in Algeria, French Morocco, Tunisia and then on Omaha Beach during the D-Day Invasion.

Bob thoroughly enjoyed smoking his tobacco pipe  from age 18 through age 101.
