Rose Louise Schenone, 93, of Palm Harbor, Florida (formerly of Oceanside, NY) passed away March 4, 2016. Born 8/13/1922 in Lynbrook NY, she was the daughter of Giuseppe and Assunta Ferrera. She moved to Italy with her family when she was 10 years old. She married her husband, GioBatta Schenone on 8/14/1946. They came to the United States in 1950. Rose was predeceased by her husband. Rose is survived by her sons, Bobby (Mary), Roger (Cathy) and Albert (Kim), grandchildren Andrew, Danielle (Max) Wallace, Michael, Julia and Alexander. She is also survived by her sister, Maria Marandola and nieces Carolyn Van Pelt and Susan (Don) Woodman and many grand nephews. A viewing will be held at 9 a.m on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Sylvan Abbey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.
