

Sharon Ann Woolley, age 57, of Safety Harbor, Florida passed away on Friday , August 22, 2025. She is survived by her brother David, sister Melissa (Bob Glasgow), and sister Jennifer, her rescue kitty Curry, and other extended family. She is predeceased by her parents, John G. and Sally F. Woolley.
Sharon was born in Tampa and was a life-long resident of Clearwater and Safety Harbor. She was very proud to earn her BA Degree from St. Petersburg College.
Sharon really wanted to help people with whatever problems they were experiencing. Her work helping AARP members access a multitude of resources turned out to be a great opportunity to share her skills to benefit others.
Sharon had a very large circle of friends and regularly visited with them celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other successes. Additionally, Sharon helped cofound a woman’s group each Sunday providing inspirational support and mentorship to others, creating life-long friendships.
Sharon was a morning person and loved the outdoors, especially bright sunny days. She rarely missed a day running or walking along Bayshore Blvd, simply to be near the water and breathe in the salt air of Tampa Bay. She also loved bright colors and enjoyed painting.
She embraced positivity and expressed gratitude for each day, surrounding herself with affirmations and sharing them with others. She was deeply loved by her friends and family and will be always be remembered for her fighting spirit and eternal optimism.

A celebration of life for Sharon will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759, followed by a graveside service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
