Walter has been a life time friend to our family, I first met Walter when I was 12 when he came to live with us. I didn’t understand why at the time but he was a friend of my fathers (John Buckley) and had worked with him at Pratt Whitney in CT.  Walter stayed with us a few years until he met Florence, the sweetest woman I have ever met. It was a match made in heaven and they were wonderful together. They were both there for our family in so many ways throughout the years. As my parents aged they visited them in the hospital or rehab centers. After my father passed, Walter would pick-up my mom (Lois Buckley) from my brother’s (Loren Buckley) house for lunch or dinner and take her back no questions asked. Walt and Florence have been an extension of our family for the past 50 years and he will truly be missed by all. What a great man and friend.  The Buckley's

Uncle Walt was a beloved uncle who will always be remembered for his kindness, support and unconditional love of family and friends.  He is loved and missed but I know he is now at peace.  May he and his sister (my mom) be together joyfully in heaven.

Walter Gould Renton, Providence,R.I. Served 8 years in the U.S.Navy. 29 July 1946. served an apprenticeship with Brown and Sharp with his Dad. Pratt and Whitney, jet engine Div. Hamilton Stander[Now United Technology] in the space program 1970s Walter is survive by his wonderful wife Florence of 47yrs. his children.  Susan{D} Larry, Todd & Kathleen. 10 Grand and 22 Great Grand Children. We all loved Walter/Dad very much ! He is at peace now.
