As of tomorrow, it will have been a year since you left us, son.  Not a day has gone by without tears.  I have missed you every moment and I look forward to the day we are reunited.

For those who didn't get the chance to meet Adam, he was truly one of a kind. He made each person in his life feel special with his attention. He had so much to give and asked for nothing in return. His friendship was adicting to the point you never wanted him to leave. He lit up every room with laughter. He was a best friend you wouldn't want to live without and a brother you craved to have. He wanted nothing more than to spend a life with Jennifer and Landon. He had chose to marry her the day that he met her and spoke of nothing less. My heart breaks for my sister, Landon and Adam's family.... Adam was truly loved and will be greatly missed.

Adam, I was so saddned to hear of your passing from Sy, but I hope you were having a blast in the last few years of your life doing what you loved.  My thoughts and condolences go out to your family and friends. You and your father were always a joy to see at the office and I felt like I was a part of the family, even though I only knew you a short time.

I was greatly saddened when I heard of Adam's death.  But I was greatly uplifted and inspired by learning more about him at the funeral service.  There's no greater gift that he could have left this world than for others to know of his faith in Jesus Christ.  Hallelujah.  I just wish I could have met him and talked to him.  I'm so sorry you, his family, have lost the pleasure of his company, but I pray the memories and the sense of his spirit will carry you through.

This is what set him apart from the other Marines he served with, thus enabling him to receive the award of honor graduate in â€œboot campâ€. I will always remember those hikes in the mountains and camping trips we took together in Alaska. Sarah and I will miss Adam very much and will forever cherish his memory.

Dearest Cobb Family,

I've postponed writing anything because I've been at a loss for words. I'm so deeply saddened by the tragic loss of any 21 year-old, but particularly someone so pure of heart as Adam. My sister and nephew have never been so loved, so appreciated, and so happy as they were during their years with him. I feel so blessed to have seen Jen so incredibly happy; she deserved it. Julie and Richard, thank you for the incredible job you did raising such an inspirational young man, and please find peace in knowing that your son touched so many lives in such big ways. 

Jen, hang in there. I can't imagine the pain and loss you're feeling right now, but try to focus on the hundreds of warm memories and moments you had. Life is so fragile, but you both made the most of your time together. I'm so glad you have a plethora of pictures that captured all of your adventures, and I know Adam is so proud of who you are and what a strong woman you have been through this. You truly inspire me.

Adam, I'm sorry I was weary of you when I first met you; I'm a pretty over-protective sister. I'm glad that your open heart and persistence to win people over paid off - we had such a great time this summer in Pensacola! Thank you for all of your help toward my family, and thank you for being such a fantastic influence on Landon. I hope you'll provide guidance and strength to both of our families; this has been so incredibly hard on everyone. You may have never known it, but you showed a lot of people how to love, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Adam i am so sad to hear you had to go soo soon, god must have needed to already. You were truely a great friend you had so much respect for people your parents brought up a great young man. Rest in peace my friend. The times we all had together will never be forgotton.

I am sadden by the unfortunate passing of such a great guy. I have known Adam Since 2nd grade. I will always think of him and his family when I pass their old house by eagle river elementary and when I see that pink diamond necklace hanging on my dresser. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers

You were my best friend! We did everything together. I remember you pulled my truck out of the middle of the road when it it died because i was driving thru a huge puddle on the road and my engine fried, then we all went sleeding behind FredMyers and you slide in your truck. Then we had later night drives to get 20 tacos at TacoBell, and in school you would always get in trouble for getting up and walking around and talking to everybody. I have so much more to right but ill be her for hours. I miss you buddy and wish you never left, the memories will always last. Miss and love you buddy!

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Adam well, but I know he loved my niece Jen and little Landon. I am especially thankful for his care of and devotion to Landon. He made a difference in Landon's life, which to me shows that Adam was a man of character and kindness. I wish that I had known him better. I am praying for all of you during this difficult time.

We are so thankful for the time and memories of our Pensacola glass filled nights, endless pass out movie nights, Flounders, NAS Pensacola check-in and check-outs, Home Depot runs, Chili's and La Hacienda, Bass Pro hobby finds, Capt Baz Charters and Shoreline fishing (those darn catfish,sharks, and fantastic cobia "what is that thing?!"), will never forget the night you became our savior when the moving truck decided to have an electrical short and you were our only light source, our first nights at the new house where the three of us spent the night on box springs in front of the fireplace freezing due to the heater not working and us three being smoked out of the house because the flue didn't work, thankful for your help building the pump house and storage room, hammered thumbs, trying to figure out how to cook and eat dinner without cookware and dishes, gasoline vs ants, crashing helicopters, Greek Festival, big boy trucks mines bigger than yours, treestands, and bon fires. 
I am thankful for you providing help with the forsaken well pump that refused to keep pressure so we could take showers and then having the water heater element blowing out the very first time we use it. I am thankful for you spending our first Halloween in Pensacola with us after a freezing night yet very successful for the kids. The memory of the "Brick House" outfit you bought Jen for Halloween. Giving us an excuse for steaks. Being the taste tester. Creating the Adam Mii on the Wii which resulted in humorous flights. Most importantly, I am thankful for the love and support you showed, showered and gave my sister and nephew. You helped her through tough times, giving her strength when she needed it the most. You gave my nephew a best friend, a playmate, a postive male role model, and much more when you didn't have to but you wanted to. You accepted us as your family and friends. You became a best friend and a brother. We shared many moments and memories these pass few years with much laughter and smiles. "Yes, Gunnery Sergeant" will always be thought of with a smile and a chuckle. Your laughter will never be forgotten. Your memories will never fade. Our home was always yours. You will always be remember my brother in our thoughts and hearts. Thank you so much for your friendship. These past few years have been wild, crazy and fun.
