Carol Lynne Cannaday

Carol was a kind and loving woman who always put her family first. She was a devout Christian and her faith was an important part of her life. Everyone who knew her was aware that she was a special Child of God. Even through many trials in recent years she never wavered in her faith and praise of the Lord.

Carol was a member of Heaven View Church where she and her husband, David Cannaday, served together in many ways in church. She also faithfully made meals each month for the local homeless shelter. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, cooking, art projects, gardening, shopping, singing, traveling, watching sunsets on the ocean, and reading God’s word. She will be sorely and deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her husband, David Cannaday; her children, Haley Maness and Michael Maness and his wife Amanda; her grandchildren, Jordan Jarrell, Tristan, Harper, and Riley Maness; and her mother, Sarah Margaret Bowlin. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Dyson; and her brother, Michael Dyson.

A visitation service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 6-8pm at the Vogler Funeral Home in Clemmons. A graveside service on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 2pm at Westlawn Gardens in Clemmons, NC.
