Doris G Burris passed away Saturday August 12th at Salemtowne Health Care, after a life well lived. Doris was born September 6th 1931 in Robeson County, NC and retired after many years as a bookkeeper in the building business. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Glenn S Burris, and son Richard G Burris. Doris is survived by her daughter Beverly(Jerry), son Martin(Anne), son Russell(Darlene), five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed such as bowling in the WBA, playing cards (canasta and bridge that is) and fishing. She always had tackle, hooks and line in her purse “just in case”. Besides her family, her other love was her animals. Funeral Service will be a private family gathering, with entombment at Parklawn Memorial Garden.
