
Douglas Curtis Williams, 65, of Winston-Salem passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Woodbridge, VA on October 4, 1946 to Claude Williams and Nellie Louise Tucker who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister Mildred Barton. His immediate survivors are his wife Nancy Dieter Williams of the home whom he married on August 25, 1995 in Ozark, AL; daughter Kimberly Diane Williams; sons Steven and James Allen Williams; step-son William Eugene Dieter; step-daughter Lynn Ann Cabrera; 7 grandchildren; sisters Ruth White; Claudia Kitchens and husband George; sister-in-law Deborah Villarreal and husband Arthur; brother-in-law James Dieter and wife Sandra; father-in-law William Claire Dieter; and many nieces and nephews. He served in both the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 9 of Winston-Salem. He will be missed by his family and friends.
