Ms. Moran was a great resource in the research of my ancestors. Her website held much information of value.

I never knew or even met Faye Jarvis Moran, but knew of her by my now deceased brother, Ralph Garland Tuttle, Fontana, Ca. Faye had the website called Ogburn Station Memories and posted a lot of things my brother shared with her, we grew up in Ogburn Station and I loved to read the post that was posted from our friends and neighbors that I hadn't heard from in years. I was sad when the updates ended. Mrs. Moran, Thank You for the Memories!

Faye was smart, loving, generous and outrageously funny. She loved making people laugh. She was the best friend anyone could ever wish for.
We met in London and shared a carefree time filled with travel, laughs, books and special memories.
Faye was devoted to family, including generations long past. She said Gary was the smartest, best looking and most honorable man she ever met. Together they cherished Robin and Rodney, Blake, Kayla and the great grandchildren.
I'll miss you forever, Girlfriend

Faye was my sister, my friend and my mother, she could always sense my need at the time and was always there for me. If you were loved by her , it was a love that carried you thru your whole life. She always told me that she watched how others treated the elderly, children and animals. If you mistreated any of those three you wasn’t her friend. Plain and simple.
My sister met the love her life while working for Piedmont Airlines when a Lieutenant in the navy flew his helicopter into Winston Salem one day , and that particular day she turned into a princess because her world truly changed. They dated for sometime and then she moved to Jacksonville, Florida to be near him. It wasn’t long before Faye and Gary were wed and Faye became a Queen because Gary gave Faye a life that was so wonderful, filled with love for each other and and her two children . She always told me how much Gary loved Robin & Rod. He had changed three lives now for the better, because Faye had really struggled after her first marriage ended. She had married right out of high school and was just a kid trying to fit into an adult world. Faye went thru many dark times until Gary came into her life.
Once the rain was changed to sunny days Faye got to travel from east coast to the west coast, and in between. They moved abroad for about 3 years. My best last memory with her was this. As she and I were laying in bed reading days before she passed, she fell asleep and I lay there trying to imprint her face to my brain. She started smiling and laughed out loud, I could hardly wait for her to wake up and tell her. As soon as her eyes opened I told her and she said that she was on a scooter and I was about 5 yrs. old standing behind her and I was the one laughing as we rode down a path she didn’t recognize, but we was having a really great time. I will never stop loving you or missing . Thanks for all the rides Sis, xoxox🥰 and thank you Gary for making her happy and loving her the way she deserved.

Faye helped me find my grandmother. My mom was adopted and never knew her birth mom. Faye steered me through the genetic puzzle and when the pieces all fell into place immediately welcomed me into her family. She made me feel loved and accepted and part of an exciting new group I’d never known existed. Our relationship was way too brief and my heart is broken for all those who loved her. I wish we had found each other sooner. I wish I had been able to see her face.

My childhood was amazing, you were the best grandmother a little girl could have. All the nights we stayed up late to just laugh, talk, and eat midnight snacks. All the thing you’ve done for me all my life are very appreciated. You were one of a kind, beautiful inside and out, and a heart so big. You are missed, you are loved. I will forever hold you in my heart.
