Mr. Harvey Vernon Beeson, 78, of Winston-Salem died, Friday, November 28, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center, with his family by his side.

Vernon was born February 12, 1936 in Forsyth County, a son to the late, John Harvey Beeson and the late Kathleen Hammock Beeson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, where he attended the Roy Warden Mix Sunday School Class. Harvey was an industrial salesman for Nolan Company for 31 years before he retired. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop. Harvey was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Treva Bennett Beeson of the home; son, Ronald Alan Beeson and wife, Veige of Winston-Salem; grandson, Jason Alan Beeson and wife, Jessica of Winston-Salem and great grandson Jadon Alan Beeson.

A funeral service will be held Monday, December 1st at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM prior to the service at the church, 4067 Reidsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church.
