Helen Gail Cooper passed away in a hospital in Winston-Salem, NC on Monday. She was born to the late Roy Dietz and Helena Sweeney Dietz in Hickory County, MO. She resided in Concord, NC for the last 23 years. Gail loved a good laugh and was an avid reader.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Leon, sister Leone, brother Donald and nephew Kevin. She is survived by her daughter Shelby Watson of VA, son Michael Cooper of Concord, NC and beloved grandson Tyson Patterson of Charlotte, NC, granddaughter, Zaryeh Funderburk of Charlotte, NC, her faithful sister Kathleen Milligan of Clemmons, NC (Don), brothers Dale Dietz (Joni) of Calhoun, MO, Dean Dietz (Joyce) of Raytown, MO, David Dietz (Debbie) of Wellsville, KS, sister-in-law Peggy Dietz of Calhoun, MO and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday at 1:00pm and the funeral at 2:00pm at Frank Vogler & Sons in Clemmons, NC. The burial will follow at Westlawn Garden and Memories in Clemmons, NC.
