It has been many years, but to see you and your heart so close up, we both are in awe of your parenting and love of family. I just saw your story on ESPN.  Although I do not know your family, I feel as if our families are very similar.  We have two girls, 3 and 4, and a 5-month old boy who was born on June 20th.  My first daughter's birthday is on July 20th, the day of Byron's passing.  From this day forward we will keep your family and your late son in our prayers, especially on that day.  We are truly blessed to have three healthy children, and our hearts ache for you and your loss.

I am sorry for the loss of your son Byron. As I read your email you send to everyone i know you can rest assure he is in God's arms now. Absent from the body means present with the Lord. May God continue to bless you and your family during this difficult time as you go thru this journey. You were blessed to have him, hold him and love him, even if it was only a short time.
