James Slick David Parker

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kristy Wilmoth Parker; four children Taylor James Parker, Tanner Harlan Parker, Tucker Dale Parker and Amie Nicole Parker of Harlan, KY and daughter Katie Jean Parker (deceased); mother Delores Mae Parker; siblings Diane High of Rutledge, TN, Betty Bunch (Tony) of Marshville, NC, Johnny Parker of Pageland, SC and Michael Parker (Laura) of Rutledge, TN; grandchildren Bentley James Parker, Aidan Jace Lewis and Jett Michael Luttrell; he is also survived by thirteen beloved nieces and nephews and his loyal furbaby companion Pepper.

David is preceded in death by his father, James “Buddy” Parker; brothers Billy Parker and Bobby Parker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Davidson County Hospice, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.

A funeral service will be held Thursday March 30th, 2017 at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem at 6:30pm. Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30pm the same evening.
