I am so sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I knew him from Hanesbrands. I can say that ever interaction I had with him was one of pure delight.  I also got to see him and Bobby when they would come in Kohl's at 8:00 on Sunday morning on occasion.  Jim was such a special person.

My sincere condolences and prayers go to the Yestrepsky family. I worked with Jim for many years at Hanesbrands. I always enjoyed working with him.

I worked with Jim for years at Hanes and my wife and I always enjoyed meeting him for a bite to eat or at a gallery hop. We will miss Jim greatly, his kindness, his smile, his fun.  We will be reminded of talent and friendship every time we see his artwork.

Jim was loved and respected at Hanesbrands for so many, many, years.  I will always remember him as a resource for IT questions that no one else could answer.  And, he did it with much joy.  I miss him.

Sometimes, someone comes into your life and even in a short amount of time-they bring so much joy that you feel you have known them for years. That person is one that you wish for a longer time together. But life has other plans and we are left with fantastic memories.....and love....Jim, i am honored to have met you and spend what short amount of time together.....Terry Trotter

I was very heartbroken to learn of Jim’s passing.  We worded together for over thirty years and he was so kindhearted to me all the time.  He was a true friend, loved doing his art and sharing it with others!  Jim will be missed. My prayers go out to the Yestrepsky family!

Thank you for sharing Jim with us here in Winston-Salem. I always looked forward to hearing his “okay, honey,” and there were many days when he talked me off a ledge and I loved him for it. His Fourth and Trade friends will miss him dearly: please keep us all posted on the spring event so we can celebrate him with you.

I am heart broken to hear of Jim’s passing.  Jim and I worked closely together in Atlanta at the Legg’s Data Center.  We moved to Winston  in 1991 both working for Hanes.  I just saw him a few weeks ago and spent time catching up shopping in various isles at the store.  I will miss my funny friend.

To the family of Jim, I wish to express sincere condolences.  I worked with Jim at Hanesbrands, and he was always lively and expressive.  He was the jolt of positive energy you often needed to get through the workday.  He will be missed by more than just the many!!!

My heart breaks to hear that Jim passed away 😢.  Jim and I worked together at Hanes and had some great times together before I retired.  He was a special and talented person.  I have several pieces of his art work and will always treasure them.  May God comfort his family during this difficult time. 🙏🙏

Jim will be truly missed by his downtown winston friends. He was such a bright light that I just loved to be around, and I know everyone feels the same. It was a privilege to know him.
