Julia May McCabe

She was born July 7, 1929 in Queens, NY a daughter of John and Anna Denier. She married John F. McCabe in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1972.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one brother.

Surviving are three children, John (Lisa) McCabe of Pfafftown, James (Barbara) McCabe of Troy, MI, Joanne (Chris) Snyder of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Shawn (Lauren) McCabe of Winston-Salem, Jennifer (Brad) Hawkins of Greensboro, James (Christi) Snyder of Hertford, NC; and three great grandchildren, Braydon, Connor, and Aubrey.

Mrs. McCabe worked in Accounting for Val-Pak in Clemmons and continued working part-time after retirement.

She was an avid gardener, seamstress, and she loved to crochet. Many of her baby blankets she made are spread across North Carolina.
