     I was lucky to meet you guys at Chris and Amy's before Kelly's illness but luckier to be a part of her treatment team and watch her "fight like a girl", refuse to give up, and yet still act like a lady.
     My heart broke a little more today but just like Kelly would, i must go on and "fight like a girl" for all the others who face the fight!
  She will be missed greatly and will be a great role model for Angels in training!

Scott, through college I got to see your bright personality and after school it seemed that you had met your match in personality with Kelly. Over the last years through my mom and Calvary I have heard the struggles for Kelly and your family. Kelly's passing has had a great impact on a community and I know she is in a better place. My daughter and Kelly met during their freshman year at Lenoir Rhyne College.  This led to a lifelong friendship. This was no ordinary friendship.
