Kenneth Allen Collins, 65, of Winston Salem passed away August 8, 2018 at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Collins was born November 8, 1952 in Covington, KY to Guy & Loraine Collins. He graduated in 1970 from Holmes High School and Eastern Kentucky University in 1974 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. In High School and college he competed in Track & Cross Country running and was nicknamed “Fly”. Kenneth had a long career as a Global Business Executive and was an avid hunter & fisherman. He was preceded in death by his Mother; Loraine Collins and a sister; Carol Bundy. Survivors include his Father; Guy Collins, his wife; Mary Schrage Collins, daughter; Sara Green(Jason), son; Jay Collins(Jennifer) and grandchildren; Elijah, Zachary & Julie. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 13 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11AM with Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 PM at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home or The ALS Association. Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the Collins family.
