

Luis, along with his beloved wife, Linda, owned and operated Sun Temporary Employment Company in Dallas, TX, for 30 years. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Luis was a dedicated community member and passionate mentor. He devoted much of his time to coaching the Southerner's Boxing Club in Lorain, OH, inspiring and guiding youth through the sport he loved.
Luis was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Linda A. Santiago; his parents, Julio Santiago and Carmen Gonzalez; his stepfather, Jose “Chepo” Gonzalez, who lovingly raised him; and his sister, Elsa Santiago of Ocala, FL.
He is survived by his son, Tony Santiago, and his wife, Veronica Santiago, of Tampa, FL; his son, Mark Rangel; his grandson, Luke of Vermilion, OH; and his cherished grandchildren, Marquez and Mila Santiago.
Luis had a profound impact on everyone who knew him, with his generosity, humor, and dedication to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
A memorial service to honor Luis's life will be announced at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
