Monroe Thomas "Tommy" Cumby Jr.

Mr. Monroe Thomas Cumby, Jr. (Tommy), passed away at his home April 12, 2016. He was born March 1, 1945 to Monroe Thomas Cumby, Sr. and Lillie Gough Cumby in Forsyth County. He grew up in the West Bend community and lived the last 21 years in the Huntsville community. He loved the land and anything to do with a tractor.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, wife Kay (McBride) Cumby, his daughter Erin Collins (Brad) and the apple of his eyes his grandchildren, John Thomas and Katy Mae Collins.

A graveside service will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, April 14th at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 13th from 6 until 8 PM at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Reynolda Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Union UMC 8935 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023 or Huntsville Baptist Church 4901 Courtney-Huntsville Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
