IN THE CARE OF
Frank Vogler & Sons
On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Myra Ann Crowe, nee Miller, loving wife of Norman Crowe and devoted mother to Adam Crowe and Cynthia Vincent, passed away peacefully at home in Clemmons, North Carolina at age 73.
Myra was born in Chapleau, Ontario, Canada on May 9, 1949. She was predeceased by her father Edward (Ned) Miller, her mother Lauretta (Ticki) Miller, her brother Merlyn (Sam) Miller, and her stepfather Fred Zantinge.
Myra and Norman met at Guelph University in 1970 and were married in Guelph, Ontario on April 29th, 1972. They enjoyed 50 wonderful, love filled years of marriage together.
Myra was a class of ’71 graduate with a BSc from Guelph University.
Myra is survived by her husband Norman; their son Adam, daughter-in-law Brianna Crowe and their grandson Collin Crowe, whom she loved dearly and doted on; their daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Nick Vincent; her brother Ed Zantinge, sister-in-law Nancy Zantinge and nephew Ryan Zantinge.
Myra had an eclectic family tree and one of the great joys in her life was establishing a caring relationship with her extended birth family. She is survived by sisters Brenda Willis, Dianne McPherson, Tracy Power and Linda Kelly and brother Michael Pikarchuk.
Myra touched many hearts in her journey. These are but a few terms that her many friends used to describe her; a true lady, kind, sense of humor, amazing, special, strong, beautiful, always positive.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Canadian or American Heart Association.
