

Winston-Salem-Mrs. Naomi Williams Belton, 88, died on July 20, 2013 at Oak Forest Health and Rehab. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Howard and Bessie Puckett Williams. Visitation will be from 11 to 11:45 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with funeral services officiated by Reverend R. Donald Winters beginning at 12 o’clock. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery.
Mrs. Belton was employed with Paul Rose department store all the years it operated at Northside Shopping Center. She was a member of Matthews Chapel for over fifteen years and was a woman of great faith. She loved her family and took special joy in caring for her granddaughters when they were young. She loved to garden and keep flowers. She married Charlie Belton and spent fifty five happy years together until his death in 1997.
She is survived by her children, Patti Hewitt (Lee) of Belews Creek and Charles Belton of Winston-Salem; granddaughters, Angie Pack (Sam) and Lori Nelson (Ryan); great granddaughters, Nicole and Brook; great grandson, Sullivan; sister, Juanita Freeman of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and spouse she is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
