She was born on March 8, 1960 in Elkin to Robert and Mary Ann Newman. Becky enjoyed crafting, cooking, and listening to music in her spare time. However, most of her time was spent with her family. Becky was a proud mom and spent every moment she could with her children and grandchildren.
Becky leaves behind her children, Brandon (Ashley) McBride, Leslie (Nick) Branch, and Michael McBride; grandchildren, Aiden McBride, Bridget McBride, Rowan McBride, Elijah Branch, and Aaron Branch; siblings, Len (Donna) Newman, Luann Kilby, Cathy (Joe) Duncan, and Regina Brown; father-in-law, John McBride; and many nieces, nephew, loved ones, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Neil McBride; parents; and mother-in-law, Suzanne McBride.
A celebration of life will be held at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, July 12th at 6pm with Reverend Nathan Parrish officiating.
