Richard graduated from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 1967. He worked as a chemist for Badger Army Ammunition Plant in Baraboo, WI then in quality control for Ray-O-Vac in Madison, WI and Flexi-Tech division of Sullivan Graphics in Hanover, PA. Richard and his wife moved from York, PA to Advance after his retirement.
Richard enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and reading his kindle. He was a sports fanatic, pulling for the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, and Wisconsin Badgers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Jones; daughter, Jennifer (Kermit) Wrights of Clemmons; grandson, Logan Wrights of Clemmons; special friends, Bob and Karen Lay of Verona, WI and Dean and Sharon Vang of Mesa, AZ, close cousin, Barb Jones of Fond Du Lac, WI; and many other family members and friends.
