

Rita was a loving and devoted wife and mother of eight children. Over the years, Rita was involved in St. Leo's choir, a sewing club, and was an avid gardener. She attended Forsyth Technical Institute. She loved animals, traveling, and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Arthur Richard Langevin. She is survived by her eight children: Richard Langevin of Clemmons, N.C., Kenneth Langevin of Spartanburg, S.C., Linda Crowder of Suwanee, GA, Elaine Langevin of Winston-Salem, Stephen Langevin of Warrenton, VA, John Langevin of Davidson, N.C., Susie Polston of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Lawrence Langevin of Troutman, N.C.; one brother, David Chartrand of Dracut, MA; a sister-in-law Theresa Lagasse of Glen Mills, PA, 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and her two beloved cats: Gracie and Peaches.
Rita was loved dearly by all her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday at Vogler's Chapel in Clemmons from 6-8 pm. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 1st at 11 am at St Leo Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park cemetery. Memorials may be made to St Leo Church, Crisis Control Ministries of Winston-Salem, or the Humane Society of Winston-Salem.
