Robert Ned Ned Dixon

Mr. Robert Ned Dixon, 72, of Clemmons, NC passed away on Saturday, march 26, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Shelby, NC to Thomas Gold and Ruth Branton Dixon.

Mr. Dixon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.

He was a Mason and a member of the West Bend Masonic Lodge # 434.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 6 siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 53 years, Connie McCaskill Dixon; daughter, Kelley Gold Dixon Canter; son-in-law, Kenneth Canter; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Canter and Olivia Gold Canter; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, 1:30 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 29, 2011, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel in Clemmons, NC.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC.
