

Adelle graduated from Academy High School in1955 and went on to train as an X-ray technician and radiation therapist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was well known throughout the community, having managed the busy front desk at the Cleveland pediatric office of Drs. Rome, Michael, and Feldman for 18 years.
A naturally social and outgoing person, Adelle was always involved in the organizations and communities around her—whether at her synagogue in Erie or later in the Florida community where she made her home. She had a remarkable gift for greeting everyone she met with warmth and enthusiasm, making each person feel special. Every connection she made left a lasting impact.
In addition to her parents, Adelle was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Fox, to whom she was married for 37 years and her husband Albert “Boomy” Davis, to whom she was married for 17 years; her brothers Burton (Frayda) Friedman, Conrad Friedman, and her brother-in-law, Franklin (Myrtle) Fox.
She is survived by her brother Donald Friedman, sister in law Ardella Friedman, her children, Joy (Sandy) Fox and Brian (Cheryl) Fox; her stepsons, Michael, Murray, and Gary Davis; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118 on Sunday October 26 at11:00 am.

A private family burial will follow at Brith Sholom Cemetery in Erie, Pennsylvania.
