Charlotte Kaminsky passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born in 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Joseph and Adele Greenfeld (z’l). Charlotte was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 53 years, Elliott M. Kaminsky, and by her dear sister Harriet and her husband Marty Sloan. She was also the dearest aunt to Michael (Alice Morin), Steven (Rhona Edelbaum), and Eric Sloan.
Charlotte lived a vibrant and engaged life. She sold residential real estate and generously volunteered her time with ORT and Park Synagogue. She ushered at the Playhouse and was an early adopter of technology and social media, always curious, social, compassionate, and intrepid. She joyfully cooked and baked, crocheted afghans, and created beautiful stained-glass pieces for family and friends. Charlotte enjoyed attending to her garden and houseplants as well as playing mahjong, canasta, and other games.
