I was so saddened to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of Dave from junior and high school. He was such a funny person, but it was his kindness I remember most. I hold you and your family in my prayers.

To Carol and the Sweet family, I am saddened to here of your loss and hope that the pleasant memories of Dave as a fun and enthusiastic person will some how balance the pain of loss this passing has created.

Carol....I juar heard about your loss.
I use to drive by the house just to see the old place and a few times Dave was outside and I would stop to talk to him.
    He told me about the heart attack which just shocked the heck out of me.
I sorry that i missed the funeral and will really miss driving by and not seeing Dave outside.

Dear Carol,
I was only with Dave a few times, but they included pushing a hot tub up a steep 10 foot ramp (it took hours), watching elephant seals on Ano Nuevo Beach, camping in Yosemite Valley while two different bears attacked our truck and skiing in Vail, CO where we made snow angels in snow as hard as ice. 

All the while, he was cracking jokes and being Dave. I will miss him and the world will miss him even more. Our condolences for this loss.

My memories of David go back to grade school at Pearl Road Elementary through Valley Forge and all the music programs we were involved in. It was great to see him at the 25 year reunion. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Carol and Family, Marina and I were heartbroken to hear of Dave's passing. We loved and so much as we love Ya'll. Dave was a true drummer, and I will never forget him and I playing in the band together at Valley Forge. Dave enjoyed his life and eating crawfish down here for Mardi Gras. He had the spirit of a crawfish. Dave was always full of spirit and he has showed us how to really enjoy life. When Dave goes to heaven he won't have to eat tomatoes and he will be able to listen to New Orleans music whenever he wants. Last week Dave sent me a text to check out a band competition for money to help our band. We are doing it on March 25th in his honor. We love ya'll soooooo much.

Carol, I am so sorry. Dave is truly an amazing person with a smile that would light up any room. His kindness and humor touched so many. If the true measure of a man is the lives he touches in his time on earth, Dave is one of the greatest I have known. His smile will be with us always.
