Dorothy L. Green, 85, devoted daughter of Milton and Lily (Lasher) Hyman (both deceased); beloved wife of Daniel Green (deceased); loving mother of Marcy (Moisey) Shostak, of Snohomish, WA, Michael (Carrie Hakola) Green of Woodinville, WA and Julie (Mark) Spadaro of Solon, OH; cherished grandmother of Becca (Alexander Oca) and Josh Shostak, Alexa and Jamie Hayes, Jack and Henry Green; caring sister of Judith (deceased) Dr. Bruce Wolf, and Carole Mason (Philip deceased); dear cousin and aunt.

Dorothy graduated from Shaker Heights High School and from The University of Toledo. She was a retail Pharmacist when there were very few women in the field. She had a long successful career working for Fame, Key and Gray Drug Stores and Kaiser Permanente until her 70s.

She and Daniel raised their three children on Linnell Road in South Euclid. The pair travelled often and enjoyed visiting family in Seattle and wintering in Del Rey Beach, Florida.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, 12:30 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery, 27855 Aurora Road, Solon, OH 44139. The family will receive friends immediately following interment at Elle Restaurant, 33730 Bainbridge Road in Solon until 5:30 p.m.
