Eileen Farkas

Born March 1, 1928 and died June 25, 2018, devoted daughter of Karl and Sarah Farkas (both deceased), beloved sister of Allan M. (Sheila) Farkas), Marion (David) Mazur (both deceased) and Rochel (deceased). Aunt of Debra (Jack) Barson, Sherri (Sam) Malek, Marla (Aaron) Newman, \,~~(J;. Mazur and Judith Jenkins. Great Aunt to Gabriel and Grant Barson, Brendan and Ethan Malek, Sophia and Kaylee Newman, Jessica (Eli) Schleifer and Kasey Fechtor. Great Great Aunt to Mia and Frieda Schleifer passed away on June 25,2018 at the age of90. Born in Cleveland, OH, she graduated from John Hay High School and retired from the Veterans Administration after 37 years service. Eileen was a caring person devoted to her extended family always concerned of their well being. She appreciated her many friends. Eileen had a sense of humor up to the very end of her life. Eileen was a member at Oheb Zedek-Cedar Sinai Synagogue. Funeral services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD. CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, on Thursday June 28 at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence of Allan M. and Sheila Farkas 24531 Maidstone Lane, Beachwood, OH FOLLOWING SERVICES AND INTERMENT UNTIL 5 PM AND 7 PM-9 PM AND FRIDAY 1 PM-5 PM. Friends who wish may contribute to Oheb Zedek-Cedar Sinai Synagogue or to Montefiore Hospice Unit.
