Eugene was a man of many talents and pursuits. A proud college graduate with multiple degrees, he followed a diverse career path—from working as a chef, and for The Plain Dealer, to concluding a distinguished 37-year career in telecommunications and sales.
Eugene lived life fully and passionately. He loved playing tennis and was an active member of the Cleveland Racquet Club. A devoted Browns fan, he loved to spend his time with his family and friends. He also found joy in traveling the world, savoring a good cigar and a fine whiskey, and dancing with abandon.
Eugene is survived by his beloved life partner, Janna Zborovsky; his children: Eric Litvak (Yuliya), Dani Zborovsky, Iveta Zborovsky (Matt Goldberg), and Leana Zborovsky; and his cherished grandchildren: Lily, Evan, Elizabeth, Ester, Etya, Isrel, and Riva. He is also survived by his mother Sima and his brothers, Gennady Litvak and Vadim Litvak (Julia Konstantinovsky). Eugene was preceded in death by his father Efim and his dear best friend, Val Bendersky.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, Ohio.
