Beloved husband of Judy (nee Horn); devoted father of Michael Kabat of Encinitas, CA, Andy (Sherry) Kabat of Cleveland and Julie (Brian) Kabat Friedman of Deerfield, IL; loving grandfather of Alexis Kabat, Ella Friedman and Isabel Friedman; dearest brother of Penny (Martin) Katz of Beachwood; cherished uncle of Jody (Victor) Heyman, Amy Katz (deceased), Jon Katz, David (Aimee) Horn and Allison (Grant) Hansen; dear brother-in-law of Richard (Nancy) Horn. Private memorial services were held. The family requests no visitation.
