Hyman “Hy” Swirsky age 94 passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025
Hy was the beloved husband of the late Ruthy (Goldscher) and special friend to Hope Levitt. Loving father of Michael (Terrie) and Bonnie (Dean).Cherished Stepson Matthew Weiss. Loving grandfather of Rachel, Rebecca (Kyle) and Madeline (Brandon). Great grandfather of two. Dear brother of Hilda Tetelman Epstein (deceased) and Teddy Swirsky (deceased). Dear loving Uncle to Dr. Evan (Terry) Tetelman, Barry Tetelman and Mitchel Tetelman (deceased).
Hy was very active in the Boy Scouts of America in 1970 and led the largest troop in Ohio. He was also a life member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table for over 20 years. He traveled to Israel on the Mega Mission and to numerous other parts of the world that were on his bucket list. He was a huge fan his entire life of professional wrestling and loved to visit the casino.
He was a member of Fairmount Temple (Anshe Chesed) Congregation Mishkan Or and Brotherhood of Mishkan Or.
Graveside Services will be held at the MT.Olive Cemetery 27855 Aurora Rd, Solon, OH 44139 Sunday June 8th at 12:00 PM
Family will be sitting shiva following Graveside Services at 2022 Acacia Park Dr Lyndhurst Ohio 44124 in the Reception Room till 8 PM.
