

Jack, as he was commonly known, was an avid ice cream consumer and food enthusiast. In the nicer months, he was an avid golfer and tennis player, frequently at Beechmont Country Club.
He was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, Purdue University, and a life member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity.
Jack will be dearly missed by his daughter, Joyce (Rodney Saxe) Barmen, brother, Nelson (Tobi) Barmen, and granddaughter, Jennifer (Richard) King and great grandchildren, Elinora, Jaye, and Atlas King. He was predeceased by his wife, Judith, and son, Jeffrey Barmen.
Chapel funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24th at 10:30am at the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 26700 Aurora Road, Bedford Heights, OH.
Shiva will be observed at the Black Forest Restaurant, 4368 Mayfield Road, South Euclid, 44121 on Friday only from 1pm-4pm.
