Dear Laurel and Gregg, I am so sorry to hear about your loss.  I am so shocked and I am saddened to hear of Jays passing.  I am so sad that I was not at the funeral.  I just read about it in the Fairmount Temple bulletin.  My heart goes out to you and your families.  I loved Jay, he was so kind, caring and thoughtful! Dear Laurel and Gregg,

I am both saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of Jay. The fond memories that I have of him span a lifetime. To this day, while thinking back about the wonderful times that I had as I was a teenager, playing baseball, football or basketball with Jay and Gregg will always have a place in my heart. I also remember the ongoing conversations that we shared about what an amazing athlete Gregg was and the exciting future he envisioned for his son, whether it was in sports, business or anything else he wanted to do. Gregg was always the apple in his eye. As for the loving marriage that you both shared, I always looked at you both as a dream couple. Whether it was talking walks down our street, or sharing moments together when I used to come visit you at your home, there was always a lot of love in the room.

The past 3 months have been such a roller coaster of emotion from hope, to fear, to sadness and now peace.
