Rachel

Joel was kind, generous, smart, and funny.  I am so glad I had the chance to work with him at URS, ride the train and talk, and get to know you.  I miss his wisdom and think of him often.  Bill and I are thinking of you and your family.

Dear Mrs. Schwarz and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Joel's passing.  I only had the pleasure of meeting him once - while he was recording the song he wrote - but I could tell he was an amazing man.  I hope that the song can bring you comfort and provide you with memories of Joel.  Please know you all have my deepest sympathy.

Rachael:  I was so sorry to hear of Joel's passing.  I worked with him at Dalton for many years before I moved on.  Dalton was a very special place to work.  I feel privileged to say I knew Joel and you.  You and your family are in my prayers.  May you find solace in all your memories, as those can never be taken from you.

Rachel and all the Schwarz family: please accept deepest sympathies from Linda and me.  There's much I could say but I will keep it short - I consider myself fortunate and blessed to be able to say that I have known and worked with Joel for over 40 years.  I have never known a finer person and we will all miss him greatly.

My deepest sympathies for the family.  I had the pleasure of working with Joel for many years as a colleague and lastly as a consultant.  I am sad to hear he had a long battle with cancer.  I will remember him as a wonderful family man, a true gentleman, a professional that always strived to practice at the highest level and looked great in a bow tie.

I am so sorry hear about Joel.  I know that he put up a good fight, but our faith tells us that it is not over.  Believe this or not, I woke up this past Sunday morning thinking about Joel and wondering how he was doing and thinking about you. I am not surprised about this, as this is not the first time this has happened to me.  I will tell you about it at some point.  I was thinking about the last time that I saw Joel and we had a chance to catch up.  He was a great man and a true professional.

If there is anything you need, or I can do for you and your family, please do not hesitate.
