Joyce Brabner, age 72, passed away on August 2, 2024. She was the eldest daughter of Shirley Brabner and George Brabner, Jr.; wife of the late Harvey Pekar; partner of Lee Batdorff; and mother to Danielle Batone. She was much loved by her sisters and brothers: Diane, Wendy, Sybil, Naomi, Tod, and Ian, as well as by her many friends, both at home and across the globe.
She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Planned Parenthood or to the library of your choice.
