
Kenneth W. Kleinman, 64, of Beachwood died October 28, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, New York the son of Jerry and Sylvia (Reisman) Kleinman. He earned his Bachelors of Science and his MBA from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and his JD from Georgetown University. He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Public Health Service during the Vietnam War.
He resided in Beachwood for 37 years. A health care attorney in private practice, he was proud to serve as general counsel for the North American Menopause Society (NAMS). A dedicated civil servant, he was a member of the City of Beachwood School Board from 1988-1991, and the Beachwood City Council from 1995-2010, including serving for two years as President.
He leaves his beloved wife of 43 years Gerimae (Ginn); his sons Stephen (Heidi) and Scott (Allison) of Columbus; and his daughter Jennifer Goldin (Ronald) of Palm Beach Gardens; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dennis. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Berger.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 31 at 12 noon at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz, 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118. The family will be receiving guests Sunday immediately following interment, as well as Monday and Tuesday 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm at 24340 Fairmount Blvd., Beachwood, Ohio.
