Dear Amy and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. I'll always remember Lee with a smile on his face and an amazing outgoing personality. He brought a light to the world not many people have or ever will.

Lee was a wonderful, warm, funny, talented man who everyone liked and respected. He will be missed by all of us who were privileged to be his friend. Our deepest condolences to Amy and the family.

So sorry to hear of Lee's passing.  Since moving from Cleveland, 30 years ago, I've always heard great stories about him and Amy, through Freddy G.  I always think of the Handels' with love, warmth and remember the fun times.  He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Lee in the Safety division for many years. he will be missed by
all that knew him. He is remembered  with a smile by all the accounts we had

I learned of Lee's death from another member of our high school class.  I've not lived in Cleveland since our graduation, but have fond memories of Lee as a school kid. In the attached photo I am at the lower left and Lee is at the upper right.  My sympathies to all who knew and loved him.

As an employee of E B Brown I too worked with Lee from time to time.  Always understanding and someone who cared!  I know that he will be missed by many. My prayers are with his family.....Lamont E. Earles

I knew him as Mr. Handel many years ago at EB Brown Opticians. He was a joy to work with and to be around. He always had a smile no matter what was happening. God bless and prayers to the family.

I knew Lee all my life. He always had a smile on his face and he was so thoughtful, always inquiring about others. Lee taught us all how to live and die with grace. He leaves behind many friends and a legacy to all who knew him. My condolences to his entire family, he will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace.

I've had the distinct honor and pleasure of working with Lee in my careers as an optician, and an ophthalmic technician.  What an outstanding example he was for excellence in all pursuits! I will always remember his kindness, generosity, grace, and strength.  I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Exercising at Mind & Body was always more fun when Lee was there -- did anyone ever know as much about rock'n'roll?  His warmth and humor will be remembered for a long time. So sorry  for to hear the news. Anne Ogan, Moreland Hills, Ohio

What a terrible loss of a wonderful human being.  Lee always, always, always made me laugh whenever I saw him, whatever state his health was in or wherever we were.  He put up an incredibly brave fight with his afflictions and is an inspiration to me and others with how strong he was throughout.

To Amy, Jeremy, and all of his loved ones, my sincerest condolences and I can only hope your cherished memories of him will comfort you during this difficult time.

If it matters to you, he had a great impact on me.  One of the greatest things I can say about anybody was true of Lee Handel:  I always enjoyed being with him and missed his company when I was not.  He will be missed.
