Leonard Polster

Leonard N Polster, born July 15, 1926. Just celebrated his 91st birthday. He was loved by his wife of 63 years, Cel (Rossman), brother Dr. Erving Polster (Roselee and Miriam deceased) and sister Bette Lichaw (Melvin) both deceased, and brother-in-law of Dr. Phillip Rossman deceased (Linda Kahn), father of Scott (Cindy), Keith (Cynthia) and Pam Tepper (Harry), grandfather of Tara Foley (Casey), Randi (Trent, fiancée), Malorie, Allison (Adam Green), Lauren and Jonathan Polster, Sari (Justin, fiancée), Callie and Jason Tepper and great grandfather of Cooper Foley. He founded Mason Structural Steel in 1958 and was an important part of the Northeast Ohio building industry for many decades. He was a charismatic leader and teacher with abundant patience. He had a genuine warmth and affinity for people. It gave him great pleasure to make Polster sodas for friends. Len’s marriage, family, and many friends meant everything to him. Services will be held at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, 23737 Fairmount Blvd., Beachwood, Friday, July 21 at 2:00PM. Interment Mayfield Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Keith & Cynthia Polster residence, 30850 Ainsworth Dr., Pepper Pike IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING INTERMENT FRIDAY UNTIL 9:00PM and SUNDAY 2-4 & 7-9PM and MONDAY AT WIGGINS PLACE (MULTIPURPOSE ROOM) 27070 CEDAR RD., BEACHWOOD 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Fairmount Temple, Mandel JCC or Maltz Hospice or charity of choice.
