Lilli Green

Lilli Green of Rockville, MD, and, formerly, Cleveland Heights, passed away Oct. 15, 2025. Born in Leipzig, Germany in 1926 to Markus and Adelheid (nee Birnbaum) Felber, Lilli came to Cleveland, Ohio with her brother Norbert in June, 1941 to live with Samuel and Ida Birnbaum and family. Lilli was a devoted wife and mother who put her family above all else but also volunteered at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington and Revitz House in Rockville. She was married to Harold Green (deceased) for 25 years. She is survived by her daughter Edith Green Orenstein, son Mark (Joan) Green, grandchildren Melissa Orenstein, Emily (Michael) Gelman, Hallie (Aaron) Pearl, Ilana Green, Elise (Eric) Svitek, and Aaron Green, and great-grandchildren Lilah, Naomi, and Daniella Pearl. Donations in Lilli’s memory may be made to a charity of the giver’s choice.

Services were held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel 1985 South Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 on Sunday, October 19, 2025. Interment was at Chesterland Memorial Park, 11529 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio 44026 immediately following the service.
