

Lioussia Eydelkop, age 91, passed away on February 9, 2026. Born on September 28, 1934, Lioussia lived a long and meaningful life defined by strength, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
In the first part of her life, Lioussia built a respected career as a dentist in Moscow, a profession that reflected her discipline, intelligence, and care for others. She also carried a lifelong passion for travel, finding joy in seeing new places and experiencing the world.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roman Eydelkop, her partner in life and love. A special detail that always felt symbolic of their bond was that Lioussia and Roman shared the same birthday September 28 a connection that reflected the deep closeness they shared throughout their lives together.
Strong-willed and determined, Lioussia approached life with conviction. Yet at her core, she lived for her family. Her home was a gathering place, filled with warmth, food, and constant care. She took immense pride in nurturing and helping raise her grandchildren, who were at the center of her world.
She is survived by her son, Edward Eidelkop; her daughter, Tatiana Shneyder (Aleksandr); her grandchildren Dmitry Eidelkop (Ekaterina), Riva Higgins (Tyler), and Daniel Shneyder; and her great-grandchildren Ayden Higgins and Allister Eidelkop, who brought her endless pride and joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Sofiya Kornitsky and Rita Kreynina, with whom she shared lifelong bonds.
Lioussia will be remembered for her strength, her fierce love, and unwavering presence in the lives of those she cared for. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped raise and the family traditions she so lovingly upheld.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Service will be held Friday, February 13th at 2pm at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights. Interment following at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 6576 White Road, Mayfield Village, Ohio 44143.
