BERMAN LOIS JEANETTE BERMAN passed away peacefully on February 22, 2015 in Henderson, Nevada where she had moved after the death of her husband, Larry Berman. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Harris, son Henry Berman, grandsons Matthew and Daniel Harris, daughter-in-law Jamie Simon Harris, great grandson Ezra Simon·Harris and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A stranger to Lois was just a person she hadn't met yet. She will be remembered as a highly spirited woman who yearly celebrated her 4th of July birthday with great enthusiasm and creativity. We would most always find her dressed in red, white and blue along with her dramatic sparkling accessories, also in her favorite patriotic colors. Even her home, which she referred to as the "museum," was decked out in red, white and blue as well. She was always up for an adventure and loved to take us all out on those "mystery trips." Lois was employed for several years by the Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical Company. She was an extremely generous person who donated many years of service to her local synagogue, Temple Emanu El, where she chaired numerous committees and served as its Sisterhood president. While living in Nevada, she made many new friends, taught Mah Jongg, enjoyed temple events at Congregation Ner Tamid and lounged out in the sunshine almost every day. Her funeral will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Hillcrest Cemetery and Mausoleum located in Bedford Heights at 26200 Aurora Rd. Donations may be made to Congregation Ner Tamid, 55 N. Valle Verde Dr., Henderson, NV 89074 or to any charity of your choice. We are all blessed to have had Lois in our lives.
