

Marilyn Kramer Busch passed peacefully on June 12, 2022 A celebration of her life will take place At 1:00 PM, Tuesday June 14, 2022 at Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Blvd Beachwood. Marilyn was born in Cleveland and was the daughter of Dr. Max S and Goldie (Speck) Kramer. She attended Cleveland Heights High school and continued on to Ohio State University where she met and married her husband of 30 years. They moved to New Jersey, where she raised her son. She designed and opened a pharmacy at the age of 24. Marilyn also created and opened "Marilyn's Card and Gift Shop." This was one of her dreams. Being a racing fan, she owned, raced and bred a few thoroughbreds. They raced in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Later years she moved back to Beachwood, Ohio to pursue other interests. Marilyn was known as a determined and adventurous person. Starting with the year 2000 she went to Israel nine times as a volunteer. She worked in a soup kitchen preparing food to be trucked to Israeli soldiers during the war as well as needy Israelis that could not afford food. She also helped young orthodox Israeli girls who came to the soup kitchen after school for their only hot meal of the day. One year she brought a large quantity of tooth brush's to distribute as well as to demonstrate how to brush their teeth. Marilyn traveled widely throughout the world and made friends on her trips. She was active in charitable work in New Jersey. In Cleveland as a teenager she was an advisor to BBG girls. Her other interests was dinning out and she loved Giovanni's and said it was the best in the world. Marilyn enjoyed the symphony, opera as well as the Rolling Stones. Baseball was her sport, attending The Indian Games in Cleveland and Philly. Her greatest love was for her son, her daughter-in-law and her grand son. It was in her heart. It was in her soul. It was in her spirit. For those who may ask what they can do to honor Marilyn, we have a simple request. Visit Israel one day and think of her.
