Nancy Beth Alexander (nee Ornstein) Born in Cleveland, OH. January 10th 1960. Beloved wife of Omar. Loving mother of Sean, Sam and the late Steven. Loving sister of Carol Phillips and the late James Ornstein and Lynn Ornstein. Cherished daughter of the late Mildred and Herbert Ornstein. Was a full grandmother and everything else one can be , to Hailey and Matthew Solomon and a second mother to Daniel Solomon. Dear aunt of Chris Phillips and beloved friend of Charlotte Solomon and Jesse Jones. Nancy became a LPN in the early 80's and then an RN, a charge nurse and then worked in pediatrics as a nurse Liaison until the end and worked for Cleveland Clinic for 37 years. Nancy fought Lymphoma for over 3 years and lost her battle on January 27, 2017. Services will be held Tuesday, January 31 at 11 AM at the BERKOWITZ--KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Heights, OH. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the residence of D. Solomon, 30 Country Lane, Painesville, OH TUESDAY FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 8 PM, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY 1 PM - 4 PM & 7 PM - 9 PM. Friends who wish may contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
