Perry Friedman, aka The Great Dad (TGD) or Papa, as he was affectionately called by his children and grandchildren, passed away on February 4, 2024 after an arduous battle with lymphoma.
Devoted son of Leatrice and Jay Friedman (z"l). He was the ultimate family man, leaving behind his loving wife of over 51 years, Maddy; his ADORING children Todd (Lisa) Friedman and Brooke (Jason) Rotstein; his treasured grandchildren Chace, Brady, Dylan, Arianna and Mia, whom he cherished dearly. Beloved brother of Scott (Cherie) Friedman and treasured sister Rollie Jordan (Dave Lehman) and loving nieces and nephews Rhett (Audrey) Jordan, Dax Jordan, Courtney (Hesam) Rasoulzadeh, Avery Friedman and Grant Friedman.
Having been born and raised in Cleveland, Cleveland sports were in his blood. His passion for the Browns, Cavs, and Indians was palpable, and, for better or for worse, he did everything he could to pass these traditions to his children and grandchildren.
Perry was an extraordinary friend whose quiet yet endearing presence left a mark on the local community. He will be forever in our hearts.
