DESBERG Richard A., our master of many talents passed away Sunday, July 16, at Hillcrest Hospital with his wife Beth, and son Alex by his side. Dick's passion for life included his family and many friends, and in his final days he felt the love and best wishes from all who knew him. He was a leader of everything equestrian in the Chagrin Valley-A former Joint Master of The Chagrin Valley Hunt, member of The Chagrin Valley Trails & Riding Club, and supporter of Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding. He was a mentor to many in the hunt field and on the trails in the Valley. A graduate of Shaker Heights High School '59, and Carnegie Mellon '63 he shared his creativity in his business and personal life as a writer and artist. His latest endeavor was the book for a "Broadway Musical" - one of his great loves. He is survived by Beth, his wife of 54 years, sons Ian (Gwen) of California, Alex (Jen) of Copley, his "terrific" grandchildren, Sasha, Owen, Spencer and Ruby, and his brother William (Karen) of Arizona. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. It is his family's wish that you celebrate his life in your own personal way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. No visitation at this time.
