

A third generation Cleveland furrier and president of Albert Furs, Richard maintained a tradition of integrity and craftsmanship in a business founded by his grandfather in 1933. He was a leader in his industry as a past chairman of the Cleveland Fur Institute and board member of the American Fur Council.
Throughout his life Richard’s activities and interests were many; early proficiency in electronics and computing, a ham radio operator in his teens, a student of art history, accomplishments in photography and graphic design, an avid, talented cook, and a longtime practitioner of yoga.
Above all, Richard’s life was a dedication of love and devotion to his family and many friends.
Cherished son of Al and Esther (nee Axelrod) Goldman (both deceased); beloved husband of Kathleen Goldman (nee Wolovits) for 45 years; devoted father of Erik Michael Goldman of NY and San Francisco; dear brother of Jerry Goldman of NY and Victor Goldman of CA.
Funeral services for Richard were held at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz, 1985 S Taylor Rd, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118 on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

Burial at Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, Ohio 44122.
The family will receive friends at the Goldman residence, 35 Stonewood Dr,, Moreland Hills, OH 44022 MONDAY FOLLOWING THE BURIAL UNTIL 4 PM AND 7-9 PM, TUESDAY FROM 1-3 AND 7-9 PM.
