I'm very sorry to hear about your fathers passing. He was a great guy. I always remember him with a smile on his face - good tennis player too. Part of the greatest generation. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Bob Libner was simply the greatest lawyer whom I ever met.  While I only had limited contacts with him in my career, he was a great teacher every time that I saw him in action.  I'm so sorry for your loss, not to mention humanity's loss.

I had not seen Bob in years but when I did, I was always impressed by his passion and his intelligence.  He was, as my dad would say, good people.  May you rest in peace Bob Libner.

Annette, sorry to hear of your loss.  Difficult to lose parents, we, as their children owe so much to them.   I am certainly you will miss him,but keep close the memories and eventually a smile will come back to you.   Take care, and sympathy to you and your family.

Bob Libner was one of a kind. He was a great lawyer of the people who stood steadfastly behind the sick and injured workers in the foundries of Muskegon. Bob was revered by his partners and respected by his opposition. I learned from him everyday of a long law practice.

Bob Libner was one of a kind.  Throughout my childhood, I remember him as a giant of a man, with a quick wit and a warm heart ... and that giggle!  He was so well-loved by my family.  Truly he will be missed by all of us McCroskeys.

We will always love and miss you, Dad. In heaven, the fish are gigantic and always hungry. Have a blast save a seat on the boat and a sandwich for me.

My dad was my hero. Such a humble man but truly inspiring to many a soul during his time on this earth. 
The loss of his presence in our lives is impossible to fathom..  His spirit was the brightest one I've ever known and I believe it will continue to illuminate the paths of all who knew him well.
 I will cherish his goodness, honesty and kindness forever in my heart.

Dear Ruth and family, I can only imagine your great loss of Mr. Libner's presence among you. We always knew when he was present in his law office (where I was his personal secretary for over 7 years) because of his effervescent personality. My time of service with him is unforgettable. He was very generous and kindhearted and treated his clients with great care. May our God of all comfort grant you peace today and always.

Bob was my mentor and long time law partner.  His quality as a lawyer, partner, and human being was unsurpassed.  Colorful, brilliant and kind are the words that come to mind when I think of Bob.  The entire workers' compensation bar of the State of Michigan mourns his passing.  Roy Portenga

This lovely man, Bob Libner, will be missed and long remembered for his wit, his intelligence and his humanity.  He leaves behind a legacy of a large and loving family. Bob Libner was a great guy.  I was the legal researcher at his firm from 1984 through his retirement.  He got me started on Social Security disability cases, which is now my bread and butter.  He was the only partner at the firm who ever gave me a bonus for writing a winning brief. If you totalled up the disabled people Bob helped during his life, it would undoubtedly be in the thousands. The world was a better place because he was in it.
