

Ruth Eileen Lieberman (née Kohn) age 101, ended a life richly lived on July 6, 2025, passing peacefully in the presence of her children and grandchildren. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, a beloved friend, a passionate activist and tireless community volunteer who touched countless lives with her boundless energy and kindness.
A proud lifelong Clevelander, Ruth was married to her beloved late husband Howard and is survived by her devoted children; Jeffrey (Rosemarie), Laurel, Cindy Demsey (Richard); adoring grandchildren Jonathan Alfredo Lieberman (Alexandre Liaume), Jeremy Lieberman, Andrew Demsey (Cassie Bowe), Austin and Cameron Demsey; cherished great grandson Bowe Demsey, as well as extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at Bet Olam Cemetery 25796 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, Ohio. The Family welcomes friends to pay their respects following the service at the Acacia on the Green, Community Room at 2202 Acacia Park Drive, Lyndhurst, Ohio, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SERVICES TUESDAY UNTIL 4PM & 7-9PM.
